Who may use the service

You must be 18 or older. Where we determine that an account belongs to someone under 18, we suspend it, and we report it where the law requires. Suspension is the sanction we apply; as with every other rule here, enforcement depends on the violation being reported to or noticed by us, and we cannot promise that every such account is found.

What this service is not

PF Friends is an independent social network. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Planet Fitness, Inc. Gym membership is self-declared by members; an optional verification badge indicates a member submitted evidence that a moderator reviewed. We do not guarantee any member's identity, membership, or intentions.

Your conduct

Do not harass, impersonate, solicit money, post another person's private information, or upload images you do not have the right to share. This applies to private messages as well as public profiles — see our Community Guidelines for what is and is not allowed there. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, at our discretion, and we keep an audit record of moderation decisions. We cannot guarantee that every violation will be detected.

Our role in your messages

PF Friends provides the venue and the conduit through which members send private messages to one another. We are not the publisher or speaker of what a member sends another member, and messages are not reviewed before they are delivered. Membership is self-declared; verification is optional and, where completed, reflects only that a moderator reviewed the evidence a member submitted — it is not a background check and is not a guarantee of who a member is.

Paid features

Starting a conversation with dating intent requires an active subscription, as does continuing a conversation you started. Replying to a dating conversation someone else started with you does not. Every other intent remains free. Refund and renewal terms are described at the point of purchase.

Meeting people

You are responsible for your own safety. Meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California.
