What we collect

Your email address, date of birth, the profile details you choose to enter, the intents you select, your chosen home gym, and any photos you upload. We record which profiles you view so we can show you who viewed yours.

Photographs

Every uploaded image has its EXIF metadata stripped before storage, including any GPS coordinates your phone embedded. We never store the original file.

Location

We store the gym you select, not your device's location. We never publish precise coordinates for a member; distances shown to other members are calculated on our servers and displayed rounded.

Visibility and search engines

Individual member profiles are marked noindex and are not listed by search engines. Public gym and city pages are indexed and contain no member information.

Who can see your profile

You appear only in the intent pools you opted into: a member browsing for workout partners does not see you unless you selected that intent. Opting into a pool does not restrict who may browse it, so a member who has not selected the same intent as you can still find and message you there. Someone you block cannot see or contact you, and you cannot see them — in search, on your profile page, and in conversations you had already started.

Messages and IP addresses

The IP address a message was sent from, and the IP address used to open a conversation, are recorded for safety and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not share this with other members. Personal data, including message content and IP records, is disclosed in response to valid legal process (subpoena, court order, warrant), or where there is an emergency involving risk of death or serious physical injury.

Payment data

Stripe processes payments for us and holds your card details; we never see or store your card number. We store your Stripe customer and subscription ids and your subscription status. Billing records are retained after you delete your account, as required for financial and tax recordkeeping.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion removes your profile, your intents, your sessions and your stored photographs. Conversations are retained while the other member still has an account, and are deleted once both accounts are deleted — so a conversation is not erased just because one side deleted their account. The display name and handle you were using stay visible in those conversations, so the other member's record of who they were talking to is not erased along with your account. Your handle itself is released when you delete your account and may later be chosen by someone else, so a handle shown in an old conversation records who you were at the time — it is not a link to whoever may hold that handle now. We retain a minimal record where another member has reported an account, and where you appealed a moderation decision we retain that appeal and its outcome, so that moderation history is not erased by the party it concerns. You can also export everything we hold about you as a JSON file.

Illegal content

Images that appear to depict the sexual exploitation of a minor are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as required by law.
